This is the website of Barry Price Ghost Hunter and founder of Hookland Paranormal Research Group (1989) Author of ‘Ghosts of Hookland’ Volume 1 first published in 1992 by Hookland Press.
31st May 2020 – Ghosts of Hookland Vol 6 is finally completed.
Unfortunately due to a series of horrific but purely coincidental accidents no publishers will touch it with a bargepole. Instead I will post excerpts from all six volumes of my Ghosts of Hookland on my Twitter page every Sunday. I also post my Hookland notes every Friday.
Ghosts of Hookland volumes 1 – 5 were originally published by Hookland Press between 1992 and 2012. Due to the sheer quantity of ghosts and fortean phenomena occurring in Hookland the books were extremely large volumes.
Hookland Press informed me in 2012 that they could no longer print my books due to ‘environmental concerns.’ I have since discovered that they were being lying pisspuffins and that they were actually more concerned about the purely coincidental series of spontaneous fires that occurred at every printers that they attempted to use to publish any of my books. I do understand that twenty is a lot, but there is no evidence at all to suggest any link.
Whilst I understand that the horrific series of accidents that have occurred at all the other publishers who have expressed an interest in publishing my much sought after, and indeed now rare books, might possibly put off some people I am confident that someone will be willing to take a punt.
